- Recreation Center:
- • All bookings will need to be made at least one month prior to the actual rental date.
- • Bookings will be accepted on a first come first serve basis.
- • Customers will be held responsible for any damages sustained to the building, equipment and other gaming accessories.
- • Payments need to be made 7 to 10 days prior to the actual rental date using either cash or check written to "Indiana Tech" for the appropriate amount.
- • Customers will not hold Indiana Tech responsible for any personal injuries or damages to personal equipment while using the facility.
- • Catering and other services can be arranged for an additional fee.
- • Additional fees will be incurred for groups larger than 50 or for damage to the facility.
- • Billiards, Table Tennis, Air Hockey and use of Big Screen TVs will be included in the price of the rental.
- • Sales tax is included in the total price of the rental.
- Conference Center:
- • Tax on room rental, equipment rental and food service will be applied to every rental transaction. Exceptions on room and equipment tax charges are made when an organization provides a tax-exempt certificate. Food service tax is not charged for a non-profit organization holding a fundraiser. There are no other exceptions to this rule.
- • Candles are not permitted inside any room or area of Andorfer Commons.
- • Indiana Tech is not liable for any food related damages or injuries when an outside caterer is contracted for an event.
- • For most events, alcohol is NOT permitted in Andorfer Commons. Occasionally, special exemptions are made, but renter must follow the State of Indiana guidelines concerning the service of alcohol at a special function. The staff of Andorfer Commons will determine exemptions on a case-by-case basis and will provide guidelines if permission is given.
Please Note: As a private institution, Indiana Tech reserves the right to refuse or cancel any event at any time, especially if it interferes with our academic and student calendar. In these instances, any deposit or payment made by the renter will be refunded in full.
